“Music effortlessly flowed across the grand room, weaving in between the numerous colourful guests. Amongst the masked dancers; twirled Jessie, trying her upmost to keep up with her much taller acquaintances. As she danced she caught a glimpse of a young man standing by the open door leading towards lavish gardens, he gazed at her with kind eyes that drew her to towards him before he disappeared into the night air. As quickly as she could, she made her way towards him carefully moving in-between the crowd. Once outside she made her way from the dance and its boisterous dancers in search for him.”
“I wonder who she will find”
What do you guys think? I quite like it and I had a LOT of fun and I’m really proud (Although a part of me know that although I try my very hardest and spent a lot of time on it, I know that it probably won’t even get that many faves ^^; )
I saw an advert for a history program that mentioned Masquerade and I got really interested in masquerades and the out fits
A masquerade is a chance to be who you’re not ;)
This is Jessie and I may have made her slightly older than I intended but she’s only a few years older about 14(?) I love her dress but it was such a pain to draw all those frills but they’ve turned out really good! And I’m so glad I gave it a good complex background and not just a simple one as it’s turned out better than I expected :) I wanted it to have a calm, peaceful feel to it but with a mysterious feel to it, though I don’t think that came through as much as I’d like. But as I said earlier I had so much fun drawing this and that I might make a series of these Masquerade type pictures with my other ocs.

I’ve had enough.

I have a friend named Kaitlan: she’s beautiful and kind and is a great cosplayer, and she’s been getting these slipped under her apartment door for months.

I asked her if I could make this post because I’ve been seeing this happening and I just want something to be done. Whether it’s people supporting her or someone telling her how to get this to stop. How to get these people to get the punishment they deserve.

She has literally done anything that she knows to do. She even went to the police:

They told her to come back if it got more serious. What does that even MEAN? Apparently, someone has to actually kill themselves for this to be serious to the police.

Apparently, this behavior is acceptable at Indiana University of PA. Apparently, this behavior is acceptable to the Indiana County Police. Apparently, bullying like this is completely acceptable until someone ends up dead.

I’m just absolutely infuriated right now. This should not go unpunished. Absolutely fucking not.

jfc what the hell is wrong with people

I made this dress ^^ and I’m really proud of it too, I made it so I could wear it to a relatives wedding.
It was inspired by 50’s dress style and a little bit of lolita too. It also has a little bow/belt thing around the middle (you can’t see it very well due to the fact it’s the same colour as the main bit, but does make a nifty scarf XD )
I followed a pattern for the most part but edited to suit my needs, due to the fact that I haven’t really got much of a shape, I did originally make it a size too big and had to make it smaller and even then had to add a belt to it

Sorry for the bad photograph of me  , I had borrowd a college camera and they are really good ones but unfortunally it was my mum who was taking the photograph . The other two were taken by me but had to be eddited due to bad light
I really like how it turned out, it turned out well in my opinion and people seem to like it  also me and my sowing machine are getting along much better, I am no longer afreid of it
Next time I would maybe make the belt/bow a diffetent colour and maybe make the dress more frilly
I’m going to try and make a skirt soon, I found some I would really like to try myself :D
Time it took to make: about 8-9 ish hours spread over a few days
I hope you all like it :D

I can just imagine Ellen going to her neighbors’ houses, looking all official with glasses and a clipboard. “Hey Ellen, what’s up?” “I’m going around the neighborhood taking a poll.” “What’s the question?” “Has my marriage hurt your marriage?” “Um…no.” “Good to know. Thanks for participating, here, have a sticker.”

WHOA

DO YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST REALIZED

If there were hunters out there like Sam and Dean, or a secret organization called Torchwood, or the Doctor showing up, or fairies or wizards or demigods or whatever,

the ONE thing that would keep it completely secret

is if someone wrote a book or made a TV show about it

because by doing an internet search, all that would show up

would be the show or the book

and people will assume it’s fiction

but… what if?

Join your middle fingers back-to-back, and the remaining fingers tip-to-tip. Now, try to separate your thumbs. They will separate because your parents are not destined to live with you forever. I tried drawing semi realistic on SAI, I think it’s okay, but I still need to work on it :)
